Miscellaneous, Miscellaneous and More Miscellaneous

Elder Bos, you cannot sleep upside down in that chair!! He thought he would have a nap at
the Institute and he leaned back too far too fast. I couldn't stop laughing.

This does not say "Good Fart!" This says "Good Drive"

Candy? I don't see any candy!

 Heidelberg, Germany

Heidelberg Castle - Just drove through - haven't been to the castle yet!

Another view of the Heidelberg Castle and the bridge.

Some beautiful flowers in Heidelberg, Germany

 $1.46 a gallon - Yipee - Wait thats 1 Euro and 46 cents a liter (a liter is a little over a quart!)

We had to have one last picture with our Wyoming drivers license before giving them up
for our German drivers license. It was tough to let them go.

Our wonderful District on the 4th of July. Sisters Bishop and Earnshaw, Elders Hunt, Ringger, Adam and Wiberg. Love these missionaries! (Sister Bishop and Elders Ringger and Wiberg were transferred two weeks ago).

 Missing the USA.

Our 4th of July spread for our District at the Institute.

Family Home Evening!!!

Had a great Family Home Evening last night.  We had 13!!!!  That's the most yet.
Elder Bos gave a great lesson by President Uchtdorf
and we had a lot of fun with the name game.
Can't have FHE without dessert (apple crisp and ice cream).

Send me any dessert recipes you have - cakes, cookies, etc.
I am baking a lot and need some new ideas!  Danke

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride!!

We had a 20 minute miracle today!  Our zone leader called (on his companion's phone) and was on train headed toward the main train station.  He had forgotten his telephone at their apartment and asked if there was any chance for us to get his phone and meet him at the station.  He only had 20 minutes before his other train left.

This is a big city and you don't go anywhere very fast.  We told him we could try - so we jumped in the car and headed to their apartment.  Elder Bos turned the car around while I ran up 2 flights of stairs, grabbed the phone and ran back down two flights of stairs.  We took a different road to toward the station in hopes that it might be faster.  The stars must have all been aligned (tender mercy) because the traffic was light, the lights were green, no buses in the bus lane so we drove in that lane.  Rolled toward the station and Elder Hunt was about 100 yards away. I started waving the phone out the window and caught his eye.  He came running, I passed off the phone (like passing the baton in a race) and he made his train.  It was all like Mr. Toad's Wild Ride at Disneyland.

What should we wear???

We always start the day with a game.
We try to guess what color of shirt Elder Bos will wear - white or white?
Then we try to guess whether Sister Bos should wear a skirt or a skirt?
It does take some time to figure out the answers!!!
Have a great day!!     :)
